The kids definitely had a blast at this party. It was nice to escape the winter blues and this definitely helped. My kids are young and this park was great for them. I think older kids might find it a little boring, but for 10 and under it can be a lot of fun. They do offer life vests at the front for no extra charge and that was a bonus. I would definitely consider going back for a day trip next winter.

We spent a Saturday there with our 11 and 9 yr olds. They loved it. The water slides were a hit. Lines were generally less than 5-10 mins. The surf rider took longer but Kevin was an outstanding instructor. kudos to him. He was really enthusiastic about teaching the kids to master the waves. The place was clean and not too crowded. A great day spent splashing around on a cold winter day. Would definitely recommend and go back.
Went with our two kids ages 11 and 13. Facility is really geared toward younger children. Only two water slides that interested them. We paid for the twilight tickets which are reduced from the whole day pass. Rather than paying the “observers” fee to sit and watch our kids, my husband and I brought a laptop and sat in the hotel lobby with free WiFi and watched Netflix! Our kids were done after two hours. Not worth the money.

The Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls is a destination all on its own. We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days this past summer and during our time there we did not leave the property once during our stay. There was no reason to. We had everything we needed inside the resort. We joined long time friends on our stay, and it is the perfect place for young families to come together. The rooms are very large, and they offer special themed rooms which our boys loved.
Tennessee Wilderness At The Smokies
Located in Sevierville, Tennessee, near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Wilderness at the Smokies contains all there is to love about an indoor water park. From the wave pool to the multilevel splash park to the many water slides, theres water fun for all.
My familys favorite, though, is the Storm Chaser Thrill Ride. Up to four family members climb aboard a raft and set off down the slide before plummeting 55 feet into a large funnel. Here, you spin your way around until entering the final slide that deposits you into the pool at the bottom. Its even better at night when multicolored lights fill the funnel.

Dont let the kids have all the fun, children under 12 must be accompanied on site according to the following ratios:
Children aged 12 and above may enter the waterpark unaccompanied at the risk of their parent /carer
Children aged 9-11 may use the slides at the waterpark where they have an adult in the spectator area and are accompanied by at least one other slider aged 9 or above around the waterpark
Children aged Under 9 must be supervised everywhere in the waterpark including the slides by an adult as the supervising adult you should not be directly supervising more than two children 5-8 at one time
Children aged Under 5 must be supervised on a 1:1 basis everywhere in the waterpark at all times

Castle Rock is just off the main road so its close to everything, but doesnt have the traffic of being on highway 76.
